"I want to do more than simply treat the disease, I want to provide care for them as well! By incorporating advanced robotic technologies along with personalised multidisciplinary approaches into my practice, we will provide not just a cure but also an opportunity for a full recovery from disease."
— Dr. Sireesha M.U.R.S, MCh Gynaecological OncologistOncological experience is essential when providing surgical treatment to individuals with malignancies. Dr Sireesha. M.U.R.S's practice has a sole focus on women’s reproductive cancers and uses best-practice protocols to allow for the greatest likelihood of complete disease removal while also maximizing patient healing.
The most important aspect of a cancer patient’s surgical treatment is the seminal procedure. General gynaecologists treat the vast majority of routine gynaecological needs, however, these doctors are not trained to care specifically for women who have cancers of the female reproductive system and therefore are not qualified to provide oncology surgical treatment.
General Practice
Super-Specialist (MCh)
Specialized education in the complete removal of the disease. The complexities of the anatomy of the pelvis for the purpose of increasing the chances of successful tumour removal while optimally helping the patient to recuperate.
Competent in using Robotic-Assisted Surgery, CRS, and HIPEC technologies to achieve oncology success.
Coordinating surgery with the chemotherapy and) radiation oncology to create an evidence-based comprehensive treatment plan.
Goals: To provide minimally invasive, high-quality surgical treatments
Methods: Utilizing high definition robotic technologies da Vinci X/Xi and laparoscopic "keyhole" techniques to perform radical cancer surgeries with extreme accuracy.
Goals:The management of malignant tumors that have spread
Methods:Specialized cytoreductive surgery (CRS) in combination with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) to treat advanced stage cancers in the abdominal cavity.
Goals: Maintaining the quality of life
Methods:New techniques and advanced healthcare-related treatment options are available for young patients with an early diagnosis of cancer who want to preserve their ability to have children.
Goals: Early Detection & Prevention
Methods:Checking carefully for cancers of the cervix, uterus, and ovaries happens through detailed exams. Alongside that, handling high-risk HPV is part of staying ahead. Sometimes surgery helps lower chances when risks are too strong.
Choosing a cancer diagnosis shifts everything, yet picking how surgery will happen is important. Getting another doctor's take opens doors suddenly, options appear clearer, grounded in what current medicine truly supports.

Why Robotic Surgery is the best choice for Cancer surgery.
Open surgery generally requires large cuts and long recovery times. Robotic surgeries are the most minimally invasive form of surgery currently available and I can use the robot to perform any type of complex cancer surgery through only 8 mm incisions.
Visualizing the surgical site with extreme clarity:
the robotic surgeon provides a high-definition three-dimensional (3D-HD) view of the surgical site that is magnified 10 times bigger than what can be seen with the naked eye. This enables me to see, identify, and protect many of the small nerves and blood vessels that would normally be very difficult for me to see when performing traditional open surgery.
Increased hand-like movements:
robotic instruments that have "EndoWrist" technology also allow me to manipulate the surgical instruments beyond what is possible with my own hands; therefore, have superior accuracy when removing tumors from complex and hard-to-reach places within the pelvic area.
Accuracy in regards to nerve sparing:
robotic surgical precision is particularly important when operating on patients with cervical or uterine cancer. Because the robotic surgical instruments can accurately identify the nerves that control bowel and bladder function, the surgeon can preserve the pelvic autonomic nerves and help maintain the patient's bowel and bladder function.
Specialized Care for Young Women with Gynaecological Malignancies.
A cancer diagnosis does not automatically mean you cannot have children. There are many options to consider for the preservation of your fertility after diagnosis and treatment at our center. We provide specialized Fertility-sparing Treatment options for young women undergoing treatment for early-stage cervical, ovarian and endometrial cancers. These treatment protocols will aggressively attack the cancer while preserving the uterus and at least 1 ovary.
An ideal patient for surgery will have a variety of factors to consider, such as their cancer type, what stage they are at in relation to their cancer diagnosis, and the tumor histology grade of the tumor. High-resolution imaging studies, along with a biopsy review, are typically used in assessing whether or not you would be a candidate for fertility-sparing surgical treatment options.
Surgical Options (Conservative)
Some types of surgeries offered as conservative options that may be performed on eligible patients. It includes a Radical Trachelectomy,i.e, removal of the cervix while keeping the uterus intact) or a Unilateral Salpingo-oophorectomy (removal of only the affected ovary).
Hormonal Therapy
In selected cases of early Endometrial Cancer, the prescribing physician may use a high-dose progestin therapy to treat the patient and preserve the uterus without requiring a hysterectomy. This will be done under strict oncological monitoring.
Strict Patient Safety Protocols
Fertility preservation will only be considered if there are no other medical issues that would preclude the patient from being able to survive. Each case will be reviewed against worldwide oncological guidelines to ensure that the patient’s safety is the number one priority.
Coordination Among Medical Specialties
Our staff will work closely with leading specialists in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology. They specialize in assisted reproductive technologies, to discuss the option of egg or embryo cryopreservation prior to starting any treatment that may compromise ovarian reserve.
Whether you are seeking a first consultation, a surgical second opinion, or specialized robotic surgery — Dr. Sireesha M.U.R.S is here to provide expert, compassionate care.
